Gordon's Hunts

Gordon has had a couple of fun weeks as he had first his Wyoming antelope hunt and then a week later his Idaho elk hunt. Both hunts were very successful and he has tons of pictures to show for the effort. Both the antelope and elk both have funny stories behind the shooting that you'll have to ask him about when you see him next.

Halloween Pictures

This is Carli and Alana dressed up as a bunny and a butterfly.

Kirsten and Kendra in costumes performing for a Halloween assembly. They are supposed to be "creepy" Halloween dolls.

Carli with some pre-school friends. We have the cookie monster andAreil. Don't you love Carli's pet spider. It's named Spidey.

Halloween

Outside on the front porch on Halloween night

These are the Halloween costumes for Halloween! Kendra was a bunny, Carrie was little red riding hood. Kadia was Cleopatra and little miss Carli was a scary witch. This was right before our ward carnival. That is why Kendra and Carrie are all dressed up.

The talented girls perform

The girls had a piano recital on Thursday. They had all practiced very hard for it. They all did fabulous!!! Kirsten played Memory from Cats. Kendra played Defying Gravity from Wicked. Carrie played Our Song by Taylor Swift. And Kadia played Scherzino for her talent show and the recital. Afterwards our family went to the MC vs. SKY VIEW. It twas a good game for all of those who saw or heard about it. For SKY VIEWs half time perfomance Kirsten and some other vistauns preformed their Kick routine. It was pretty amazing.

Kadia's busy week

Well last week Kadia had a busy week. She had an orchestra concert at her school on Wednesday. Then on Thursday she had a talent show in the morning for the 6th graders. As usually she had dance on Tuesday with a rehearsal before it this time. Then on Wednesday she had another rehearsal then her first orchestra concert. For orchestra she plays the cello.
She had learned maybe 10 songs including a Halloween song. The very next morning she played on the piano a piece called Scherzino by Timothy Brown. She did very well and had a fabulous time with these talents of hers!

Sky View Homecoming Week

It was homecoming week at Sky View and the Vistauns had a busy week. Kirsten and Kendra were able to help with Mr. Sky View. A fun program that the Vistauns put on for a fundraiser and to decide the royalty for the Homecoming dance. They both looked gorgeous in their dresses they wore that night.

Here is Kirsten during the parade earlier that day. Part of the girls walked along the side of the float and passed out flyers for Kids Camp and Mr. Sky View.

The rest of the girls stood on the float and threw candy. It was very hot and the girls were glad to head back to the air-conditioned school to get ready for Mr. Sky View.

Kirsten and Kendra both heading out the door to go to perform for a half time entertainment.
