Birthdays

So there have been some big important birthdays around here recently. Kirsten turned the BIG 18 on the 15th of November, and Carli turned 6 on the 24th of November.

Kirsten decided to go to dinner to Olive Garden, her favorite restaurant, and opened her presents there.

 

Carli was very excited to have a party at Sports Academy with some of her school friends. They went bowling and then played in the soft play area.

Zhu Zhu Pets

I don't know if any of you know what zhu zhu pets are but Carli loves them! They are little robot hamsters that travel all around. They have clothes and other acessories. So Carli got a little pink one named Jilly. And then a couple months later she got another one called Moo for her dance recital. Well she decided they needed to get married so they could be a family. So she got her dad since he's a bishop now to marry them upstairs in her room. Notice they are in their wedding clothes Here's some pictures of the event.

Halloween

This year for Halloween only Carli dressed up for trick or treating. She was Sleeping Beauty. She had her "forest friends" blue bird on her finger and owl in her basket keep her company.

Carli also won a pizza in a drawing at school for dressing up for Red Ribbon week everyday.









And then there's always the Vistaun Halloween Dance. This year they were zombies.









It was also Red Ribbon week at school for Kadia. This is red day, notice the red feather eyelashes and crazy hair day.

Logan Canyon

So for a couple of weeks our family would go up on Saturday and spend some time seeing things in Logan Canyon. Some of these sites included Mt. Logan and Old Ephram's Grave.

SV Homecoming Week

We just celebrated Sky View's homecoming. Carrie went all out for Spirit Day.

Kirsten and Kendra's halftime performance was really fun. They dressed up as football teams playing against each other and danced to fun music. (Eye of the Tiger, We will rock you, Let's get ready to rumble,ect.) picture kinda dark sorry.

Frog Story Epilouge

Well as fate would have it Mrs. Froggy died. But the 14 day warentee hadn't ended yet. So Mom went into Petsmart and got another frog. She must really love us.

The Frog Story

Once upon a time there was a family reunion in Island Park. One day of this reunion Kendra was down by the pond. After trying very hard she caught a tadpole, hoping it would turn into a handsome prince. Having caught Mom at a good moment, she said we could take it home.(Mom didn't think it would live) Kendra nursed and loved this tadpole and we all watched as it grew legs. Then it became to big for its small fishbowl. It needed more room. What would we do?






Kendra is full of luck. On a trip to the DI we found a cage that would house him until he became a prince.





We took the cage home and washed it, decorated it, and picked out some of the finest rocks for it. But sadly our Mother's prayers were answered that night. The tadpole died! However, our mother was softened again and gave in to getting more future husbands for us.





This is Monsieur Froggy/Monsieur Froggy Woggy/ or Prince Naveen. He has been the only frog that has lived through this whole story.






This is Madam Froggy/or Mrs. Froggy. She is the fourth frog. Two died before her but now its just her and Mr. Froggy. And they are living happily ever after.

I guess you could call our family the amphibian family cause all of us have a pet fish and now the two frogs. :)

Africa Returns!

Our Grandma and Grandpa Baxter just got home from their mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa. They have been gone for 18 months. We were so excited to have them come home. Here are a few of the pictures of the exciting day...
